Marie Fløystad Dahl from STRING will be participating in the key event “När går tåget?”, organized by the Norwegian-Swedish Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Länsstyrelsen i Västra Götaland. This event, set to take place on September 19th, 2024, at Norges Hus in Gothenburg, will bring together key stakeholders to discuss pivotal infrastructure developments in Western Sweden.
At the event, STRING will highlight the urgent need to establish a double-track railroad between Oslo and Gothenburg, a project critical for eliminating the last remaining bottlenecks in the STRING corridor stretching from Oslo to Hamburg. As we anticipate the increased traffic from the upcoming Fehmarn Belt opening, this infrastructure enhancement becomes even more crucial for boosting regional connectivity and supporting sustainable growth.
