String: Brug Femern-forbindelse som løftestang for grøn megaregion

DEBAT: Skal Danmark undgå at blive en transitkorridor, når Femern-forbindelsen åbner i 2029, skal vi anvende forbindelsen som løftestang for at skabe en grøn megaregion, der strækker sig fra Nordtyskland og videre op i Skandinavien, skriver Thomas Becker.

I kølvandet på covid-19 kan man undres over, at nationalstater insisterer på at fortsætte deres enegang. Krisen er direkte foranlediget af vores globaliserede verden.
Og den har mere end nogensinde vist os, at hvad der sker i Shanghai, har en direkte effekt på, hvad der sker i København – og omvendt. Alligevel insisterer vi på at anvende nationale virkemidler til at løse en global krise. For covid-19 forsvinder ikke ved at mindske smittefaren i Danmark eller i Tyskland. Den skal mindskes globalt. Særligt for et eksportland som Danmark er dette af altoverskyggende betydning.
